Personal information given to healthpeaceprosperity.com is handled by BLOCK ISLAND HEALTH SERVICES, INC. (EIN 22-2570482), which trades as BLOCK ISLAND HEALTH SERVICES, INC.. This policy records what is collected, what it is used for, the limited circumstances in which it is disclosed, and how you can see, correct or delete it.

The short version

We are a small retail shop, so the amount of data we hold is small too. We need a name and an address to post a parcel, an email address to tell you where it is, and — only if you ask for it — a mobile number for shop news. We do not sell personal information, we do not share mobile numbers with anyone for marketing, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site. Everything below is the same statement in more careful language.

Our text message program in one paragraph

BLOCK ISLAND HEALTH SERVICES, INC runs a single text message program and it is marketing only: shop news, seasonal offers and restock notes. Subscribers join by entering their own US mobile number on this website and ticking the consent box; we never buy, rent or import numbers, and consent is not a condition of any purchase. Usually 1 to 3 messages per month; frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to leave the list or HELP for help. Order confirmations, tracking and shipping notices are sent by email and are never part of this program.

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent records are never sold, rented or shared, and they are excluded from every other category of data sharing described below.

What we keep, and for how long

  • Order records — name, delivery address, email address and what you bought. Kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires us to keep them, then deleted.
  • Text list records — mobile number, first name, the date and wording of the consent you agreed to, and the page you signed up from. Kept while you are subscribed.
  • Opt-out records — if you leave the list we keep a note that the number opted out, and nothing more. That record exists so the number is never re-added by mistake; it is not used to contact you.
  • Correspondence — emails to and from the shop, kept while they are useful for supporting you and then cleared out.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal information to anyone, for any price.
  • We do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • We do not add anyone to the text list because they bought something. Consent is separate, explicit and optional.
  • We do not ask for, want or knowingly hold health information about you. We are a retail shop, not a healthcare provider, and there is no medical record here to protect.
  • We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.

Categories of information

  • Identifiers you supply: name, email address, postal address for delivery and billing, and a mobile number where texts are requested.
  • Technical records of the visit: IP address, browser type, which pages were viewed and at what time, collected by cookies and comparable technologies.
  • Device and network signals: device identifiers and mobile network details, used to serve the site correctly.

How your mobile number is treated

A mobile number reaches us only when you enter it and tick the box, and that is your consent for BLOCK ISLAND HEALTH SERVICES, INC. to send recurring automated marketing and informational text messages to it. Who else sees it

Your personal information is not for sale, at any price, to anybody. It is shared with the service providers who make the transaction work, namely payment, shipping, the SMS platform and analytics; where the law compels disclosure; and on a transfer of the business. SMS opt-in data is excluded from all three, as set out above.

Access, deletion and the CCPA

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act you may request to know what personal information we hold, require its deletion, and opt out of its sale; we do not sell personal data, so the last is already the position. How the data is protected

We apply industry-standard technical and organisational measures, and keep access to a need-to-know basis. Even so, nothing transmitted over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Age and this policy

We do not market to, sell to, or knowingly gather personal information from anyone below the age of 18. Should any reach us, it is deleted as soon as we learn of it.

Revisions to this policy

Amendments are published on this page and carry a revised date. There is no other version in circulation, and the one here is always current.
